Lauralyn Vasquez is the Director of Operations and Educational Services at Beyond Technology Education (now BeyondK12), where she leads initiatives to bring technology education and digital citizenship programs to K-12 schools and districts. She is a motivational speaker passionate about healthy digital citizenship and safety, and ensuring that everyone has the digital literacy skills they need for success.
Lauralyn holds a BA in Sociology, a Certificate in Leadership and Spiritual Direction, and a Master's in Teaching and Learning with Technology. While in college, she sold her car to purchase a computer after discovering the transformative power of technology — a moment that crystallized her belief that getting the right technology and instruction into learners' hands would be a significant game changer in their academics and lives. Beyond her EdTech work, she also serves as Secondary Chaplain and middle school Bible teacher at Rancho Christian School in Temecula, California.
